Hello
Thank you for visiting my bio to learn more about me and the 10-42 Project. I am the Cofounder Finance Manager. I am your contact for all things finance. If you are interested in becoming a donor, providing sponsorships or have any questions finance related, I would be happy to help you.
I am also the Family Support Specialist in our organization. As a spouse to a former First Responder, I understand the challenges first responder life has on family members. Scroll down to learn more about me and why I became a part of the 10-42 Project.
Meet Christina Defenbaugh
My name is Christina Defenbaugh and I am the co-founder of 10-42 Project. Daniel is my husband and we have 5 children. I’ve always had a special interest in psychology and helping hurting people. I have my bachelor’s degree in psychology and strive to use my knowledge of mental health to help first responders and their family members. I love learning so I am always up for opportunities to deepen my knowledge and serve as a more equipped asset to the community of people I’m called to help. A specific aspect of our work at 10-42 Project that I’m especially passionate about is giving first responders a platform for their stories and experiences to be heard by other first responders, as well as the general public. There is so much power in empathy and connection and I believe that’s what it will take to break the stigma holding so many of our public servants back from reaching out and receiving the tools they need. Outside of this, I can be found enjoying time and activities with my family and friends, catching a live music performance, or retreating to a painting class.
